Evaluating the impact upon the FISM2 beneficiaries

Main objective:  

Contribute to the improvement of FISM activity through a better understanding of the project’s impact and its activity’s consequences.

 Activities:

  1. Study upon the sub-projects beneficiaries.
  2. Study upon community actors from localities which have implemented sub-projects with the help of FISM (FISM localities) and those who had not benefit from FISM investments (non-FISM localities).
  3. Group and individual interviews with national leaders, representatives of organizations which have projects similar to FISM, national counsels representatives, people responsible for FISM communication, mayors, construction companies.

 Results:

  1. 1693 respondents to questionnaire from 36 villages in which FISM sub-projects have been implemented.
  2. 221 questionnaires applied to community actors in FISM localities and 59 questionnaires for community actors from non-FISM localities.
  3. 72 fulfilled forms of FISM localities and group control localities.
  4. 5 discussions I focus-groups, including 4 (one for each type of project- water, gas, infrastructure, school) in localities where FISM projects have been implemented and one with main actors from localities in which FISM projects have not been implemented.
  5. 40 interviews with national leaders, representatives of organizations which have projects similar to FISM, national counsels representatives, people responsible for FISM communication, mayors, construction companies.
